Consequences of the Proposed Future Technology for Steroid Tests

If a snip of hair is not carefully collected, a patient might become embarrased and sue the testing facility.  A test for steroids already costs enough without the extra cost of being sued.  If a tester does not cut hight enough, then he/she may cause a patient to bleed or have permanent scars on their scalp.  That may also cause the patient to sue.  Somebody with no hair or a shaved head cannot be tested.

Hair Steroid tests are also beneficial.  One way that using hair for steroid tests would be benifitial is because they are more accurate.  Drug remaints are permanently stuck in hair for approximately 90 days after the steroids or other illegal drugs are used.
