The original steroid testing
is based on an analysis of urine for steroid products
that are a byproduct of metabolism. But, a problem
for testers is how to find the difference between anabolic steroids inside and outside
of an organism. These are usually only present in small amounts because of fast metabolism.

Arnold Schwarzengger, Jason Giambi, Rafael Palmeiro,
Ivan Rodriguez, and Juan Gonzalez.
